We do our work in-house, with an extensive stockroom and a full-service rig shop. Our technicians are factory trained, with certifications from ABYC, NMEA and ABBRA, and we have twice been nationally recognized for our commitment to training and education.
A team approach to engines, systems and refits, with ongoing certification training including Yanmar, Volvo, Westerbeke, Mercruiser, Fisher Panda and ABBRA advanced diesel. Vacuflush sanitation dealer.
Service and repowers. We stock parts and engines for Yamaha, Mercury and American Honda.
Stainless wire rope and end fittings from 1/8″ to 3/8″ assembled on premises, New England Ropes halyards spliced at the yard, Nautec rod rigging, and in-house fabrication.
Annual bottom paint, soda blasting, new-boat barrier coat with Interlux, cleaning and burnishing, plus spring cleaning and wax.
Protective coatings, brightwork and interior finishes done in-house.
Marine electronics and custom installation of navigation stations.
Composites and fiberglass hull repair in our own shop.

Ship’s Store & Stockroom
Over 1,000 marine fasteners, line, stainless fittings, marine coatings, paints and all the usual fluids. Parts and engines for Yamaha, Mercury and American Honda, as well as Sunfish and inflatables. An extensive catalogue collection means we can get almost anything delivered next day.

Fuel Dock & Marina
Gas and diesel. The fuel dock is open the same hours as the launch. Hail us on Channel 68.

Storage with Maintenance
A true full-service yard: specialists and experts working together under one roof, so the work is more efficient, the quality is better and you get more free time. We handle all the scheduling.
Storage for boats up to 75′ — indoor, indoor heated, and outdoor with shrink wrapping. About 200 boats inside and 100 outside, plus additional space for floats, dinghies and gear.

Our yard crew runs a 55-ton Travelift, a 30-ton all-terrain hoist, two hydraulic trailers, a self-propelled trailer, a fork truck and a modified Ford 450 we call Shortie. Boats up to 75′ are hauled and launched at the Burr Brothers marina, and moved from shed to shop and in and out of storage.
How we operate: every customer gets a Customer Representative who is accountable for the boat being delivered as specified. At the end of the season, leave us your keys.

About Us
Accountability matters. Trust is essential. Burr Brothers provides premium care and maintenance for about 300 yachts, with a team of roughly 40 full-time technicians — mechanics, painters, electronics technicians, carpenters, fiberglass repairers, riggers and a yard crew — available year round or for transient service.
Concierge service helps families log more time on their vessels: ask about cruise prep, packaged meals at the dock, and even car detailing.
